Saying 44: Blasphemy Against the Spirit
Whoever blasphemes against the Father will be forgiven, and whoever blasphemes against the Son will be forgiven; whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, on earth or in heaven.
Commentary
The only place in Thomas with anything resembling a trinitarian formula, which many take as a sign of a later editorial hand at work on older material.
