Saying 32: A City on a High Hill
A city built on a high hill and fortified cannot fall, and it cannot be hidden.
Commentary
Matthew uses the image for the visibility of the disciples; Thomas adds fortification and impregnability, shifting it towards the security of the one who has understood.
