Saying 93: Do Not Give What Is Holy to Dogs
Do not give what is holy to dogs, or they will throw it on the dung heap; do not throw pearls to swine, or they will make mud of them.
Commentary
The Coptic is damaged at the end and the last clause is reconstructed. In a book that has just told the reader to shout from the rooftops (saying 33), the restriction is worth noticing.
