Saying 63: The Rich Fool
A rich man planned to invest his money, sow, reap and fill his barns so he would lack nothing — and died that night.
Commentary
Luke frames the story with a divine voice calling the man a fool. Thomas ends on the bare fact of the death and the standard formula: whoever has ears should listen.
