Saying 30: Where There Are Three
Where there are three deities they are divine; where there are two or one, I am with that one.
Commentary
The Coptic and the Greek fragment disagree here, and the Greek appears to join this saying to saying 77. Matthew’s “where two or three are gathered” is the mirror image: Thomas keeps shrinking the number until only the single one is left.
